Cookie Policy

VenueLedger · Effective 7 September 2026

This policy explains how VenueLedger, provided by Stallions Technologies, uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage) across the VenueLedger website and web console. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

What we use, and why

VenueLedger is a private business tool. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party analytics. The storage we set is limited to what keeps the product working and what you have asked it to remember.

CategoryPurposeExamples
Strictly necessary Keeps you signed in and holds your session while you use the web console. The product does not function without these. Sign-in token and current-user record, stored in your browser's localStorage.
Functional preferences Remembers choices you make in the interface so it looks the same next time. Stored only in your browser; never sent to a server. Sidebar collapsed/expanded state; your recent generated-report list.
Consent record Remembers the choice you make in the cookie banner on the VenueLedger marketing site, so we don't ask again on every visit. A single vl-cookie-consent entry (accepted or declined).

Third parties

No third party sets cookies through VenueLedger. Our service providers — Microsoft Azure (receipt storage and AI extraction) and Brevo (transactional email) — process data on the server side and do not place cookies in your browser. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.
